Description of Public Health Study program
     The Public Health Study Program is one of the study programs in the PHSP, Hasanuddin University which has been accredited by the National Accreditation Agency of Higher Education (NAA-HE) with category A and also has received ISO 9001:2008 for the application of the Quality Management System. The graduates of this study program are give the first degree of SKM (Public Health Scholar) or Bachelor of Public Health. The graduate profile should possess good knowledge and skills about the management, should become an innovator, a researcher, a learner, and should become a leader and an educator or MIRACLE in short.

Mission
1. To run education in reliable public health sciences, competitive, and with International quality and based on Indonesian Maritime Continent
2. To develop researches in public health sciences based on Indonesian Maritime Continent in order to produce scientific works with international reputation
3. To run the community service professionally in improving the public health status by supporting the program achievement of SDGs.
4. To run the accountable, effective, efficient, transparent managing system with high quality, and International standard.
The Aims of Public Health Study Program
     To produce education scholars, competent and professional in developing the Public Health Sciences independently, and are supported by scientific ethic and moral in understanding and solving the health problems.

The aims of the Undergraduate PHSP are as follows:
 1. To produce competitive, innovative, creative, proactive and moral scholars of the Public Health.
2. To produce researches in the field of public health which will be referred to nationally and internationally.
3. To produce the community service supporting the achievement of SDGs program.
4. To realize the quality management system with ISO standard in the sustainable management system of the faculty.
The ELOs in the PHSP of Hasanuddin University comprise:
1. The ability to perform study and analysis (analysis and assessment);
2. The ability to develop policy and planning health programs (policy development and program planning);
3. The ability to communicate (communication skill);
4. The ability to understand the local culture (cultural competency and local wisdom);
5. The ability to do community empowerment (community dimensions of practice);
6. The ability to understand the basic community health (basic public health sciences);
7. The ability to plan and manage the financial resources (financial planning and management);
8. The ability to lead and think of systems (leadership and system thinking/total system).
The eight ELOs will produce scholars in Public Health Sciences and have profiles expected to possess the qualifications of “MIRACLE” as stated below:
1. Manager, meaning they are capable of managing the Public Health Programs
2. Innovator, meaning they are capable of performing the innovative approaches
3. Researcher, meaning they possess skills in doing researches and exploring the evidences in order to make decisions
4. Apprenticer, meaning they are professional in life learning
5. Communitarian, meaning they are capable of working among community
6. Leader, meaning they can become decision makers for finding the vision for the public health
7. Educator, meaning they are capable of educating all people to live healthy.
