General purpose
“Produce educational outcomes competent and professional development independently of Nutritional Sciences, supported by ethical and moral science in understanding and solving health problems”.
Specific purpose
1. Produce professional educational outcomes in the reasoning of Nutritional Sciences to support health development in a national health system.
2. Produce research that is able to understand and solve nutritional problems in a professional manner.
3. Generating community service programs that can be reference for the government and the community through internships and community service by the lecturer.
4. Develop a network of national, regional, and international cooperation in the field of education, research, and community service to participate solve nutrition problems.
1. Key competencies
1) Being able to correctly describe the basics of the science of nutrition and its relationship to health and food;
2) Being able to thoroughly examine the relationship of nutrition, health, and food in a system;
3) Ability to assess, assess, and identify the nutritional status of individuals, groups, or communities;
4) Able to plan interventions and nutrition services that suit their needs;
5) Mampu implementing interventions and nutrition services in accordance with the intervention plan;
6) Able to carry out activities of monitoring the implementation of interventions and nutrition services;
7) Ability to conduct the evaluation of the intervention and nutrition services;
8) Ability to promote nutrition and conduct social mobilization for the prevention and treatment of nutritional problems;
9) Understand the importance of cross-sector cooperation, cross-disciplinary and cross-profession in dealing with nutritional problems;
10) Able to perform the necessary preparations for advocacy in dealing with nutritional problems;
11) Ability to design and carry out research under the guidance of an expert or group of experts;
12) Being able to apply the results of the latest research on interventions and nutrition services;
13) Being able to update themselves in the development of science and technology fields of nutrition.
2. Competence Supporting
1) Being able to do the presentation of material and malnutrition in a variety of media communications by using one of the minimal international language of English;
2) Ability to use a computer in the writing of papers or thesis as well as in the presentation of scientific work;
3) Ability to use the internet facility in the literature search and also in communicating with other colleagues in the field of nutrition.
3. Other Competencies
1) Being able to provide nutritional counseling in various types of communication media using standard Indonesian;
2) Ability to present scientific papers obtained from the court in written form in scientific journals both nationally and internationally;
3) Ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals in providing integrated health services to the community.
