     The study program S2 Public Health Sciences is one of the courses that offer some of the majors concentrations that consist of Environmental Health, Health Policy Administration, Nutrition, Epidemiology, Health Promotion, Administration Hospital, and Reproductive Health and Family.
     “Realization Master in Public Health Education Excellence in Southeast Asia, and International Networking-Based Maritime Continent of Indonesia Year 2020”
1. Holding a master degree program for the development of public health sciences and technology superior and competitive in the assessment of public health problems globally, based on BMI
2. Conducting assessment through research faculty and students to develop concepts, methods and strategies to help understand and solve a health problem globally, nationally and locally based BMI
3. Conducting systematic efforts through community service programs by lecturers, field practice and benchmarking as a student of the department of research recommendations, using science and technology public health professionals in the national and local levels-based BMI
4. Organizing a network of cooperation with various countries and international institutions to peneitian and community service together, and increase the exchange of lecturers and mahsiswa kerjsama inter-university level, south east asia to achieve quality standards expected in the vision statement
Purpose of Education
1. Generate master who master the theory and the concept of public health science is broad and deep, so it is able to assess and understand health issues comprehensively,
2. Generate a master of public health that are able to apply health sciences to participate solve the problem and recommend a solution of health,
3. Generate a master who is able to develop methods and strategies in health programs,
4. Produce a master who has the ability to strengthen the management and good organizational governance characterized by professionalism, and
5. Generate a master of public health coined the ability to work together in teams across disciplines to the program, and is responsible for his work
1. Main Competencies
8 key competencies arranged in the formulation of competence, namely;
1) The ability to collect, assess, analyze, and apply information and make decisions based on evidence.
2) Ability to effectively make the selection, planning, and skillfully implement and evaluate, including the management of Extraordinary Events (KLB) such outbreaks and emergencies.
3) Skilled in communication with the public.
4) Ability to understand the local culture.
5) Ability to perform community empowerment.
6) Understand the basic science of public health.
7) Ability to plan and manage resources.
8) Ability to lead and systems thinking.
2. Competence Support
Supporting competencies of graduates are classified based on the concentration of each, namely:
Concentration of Environmental Health
1) Having the ability to identify and analyze environmental changes on health.
2) Ability to plan and manage programs mitigating the environmental impact on health.
3) Ability to lead and work with a different social environment among groups in society and culture.
Concentration of Health Policy and Administration 
1) Ability to apply and analyze the policy of the health program at the health care organization.
2) Ability to apply the ability of advocacy, negotiation and leadership in influencing political decisions in accordance with the ethics of health in public health.
3) Able to perform and skilled in the management of health administration and management of human resource development in the health care institution.
4) Ability to analyze and conduct planning and evaluation of health programs.
5) Ability to design, develop and deliver health financing systems and program management.
6) Ability to develop and apply methods of research in the field of health policy.
7) Ability to apply and design a health management information system.
8) Being able to keep the enactment of laws and regulations that protect the public.
Concentration of Epidemiology
1) Ability to develop knowledge by using descriptive and analytic epidemiologic research to improve the quality of primary health care preventive and promotive.
2) Able to solve problems using epidemiological research through inter or multidisciplinary approach with other disciplines.
3) Ability to manage research and development that are useful in order to solve the problem and the development of public health science, the results of which received national and international recognition.
Concentration of Health Promotion
1) Able to plan and carry out advocacy to promote healthy public policy.
2) Ability to design and implement empowerment and participation of community partnerships for health.
3) Understand and skillfully to plan and implement outreach and social marketing to change behavior.
4) Understand and skilled in designing and using appropriate media technology.
5) Able to work in a team and led the team to achieve the goal.
  Concentration Nutrition
1) Able to conduct a scientific analysis on nutritional problems that exist in a society at a given territory
2) Able to generate diagnostic conclusions, predictions and stand guard over the “public health nutrition problem” is.
3) Ability to design a program for the solution “public health nutrition problem” is.
4) Being able to follow up and evaluation of public health nutrition problem that exists and programs undertaken to address a public health nutrition problem in a particular area.
Hospital Administration Concentration
1) Ability to apply knowledge, research capabilities and health care management skills by understanding the hospital as a comprehensive and integrated system.
2) Ability to analyze, plan, implement, and evaluate hospital organization and program.
3) Be able to understand and implement the functions and processes of hospital management includes human resources, logistics and pharmaceuticals, information systems and marketing as well manajamen functional services at the hospital, which includes management of medical services and medical support services.
4) Ability to identify, understand, manage and resolve the various problems of administration and management in hospital organizations with different approaches and management tools.
5) Able to innovation, entrepreneurship and business management in the hospital organization.
6) Able to plan, implement and evaluate the quality management, patient safety, risk management in the hospital.
7) Ability to understand and apply a investment activities, financial planning and financial operations at the hospital.
8) Able to develop science and technology in the field of hospital management based on scientific thinking.
Concentrations of Reproductive Health and Family
1) Able to understand the theory of anatomy and physiology within the framework of reproductive health.
2) Able to plan and implement reproductive health services and family.
3) Able to plan and carry out preventive and rehabilitative services for reproductive health disorders.
3. Other Competencies
1) Development capabilities of reason and communicate their environmental, social and manage the environmental impact on health.
2) The ability to apply the expertise of environmental health in the community.
3) Development capabilities of reason for understanding the context and methods of epidemiology in health area.
4) The ability to apply epidemiological expertise in the community.
5) The ability to provide a variety of reproductive health coaching concept in family life.
6) The ability to analyze and solving reproductive health problems.
7) Communication skills of degenerative diseases that attack women, the theory of contraception and infertility and prevention in the community.
8) The ability to engage and cooperate in the implementation of the concept of reproductive health coaching in family life.
